1. Welcome to the ChoDA webpage.  The Choral Directors of Arizona (ChoDA) is a constituent group of the Arizona Music Educators Association (AMEA) which serves the needs of elementary, junior high, high school, and collegiate directors throughout Arizona.  AMEA was established in 1939 as a cooperative effort of music educators.  Since that time, the association has become affiliated with The National Association for Music Education (MENC). 

  2. ChoDA sponsors several choral festivals and events throughout the school year.  Information about these events can be found on this website as well as on the AMEA website.  All registration must be completed through the AMEA website.

  3. ChoDA also offers the sale of music at a discounted price for music that was used at previous festivals.  In addition to the sale of music, ChoDA also sells sight-reading materials from previous Regional and All-State auditions.  For a complete list of items available, please visit the AMEA music sales page.

ChoDA members, please be aware of a fee change for Jazz/Show Choir auditions and participation.  The ChoDA board approved at the May 9th meeting to increase registration fees for Jazz/Show auditions from $15 to $20.  The participation fee will be raised from $35 to $50.
