1. Welcome to the ChoDA webpage.  The Choral Directors of Arizona (ChoDA) is a constituent group of the Arizona Music Educators Association (AMEA) which serves the needs of elementary, junior high, high school, and collegiate directors throughout Arizona.  AMEA was established in 1939 as a cooperative effort of music educators.  Since that time, the association has become affiliated with The National Association for Music Education (MENC). 

  2. ChoDA sponsors several choral festivals and events throughout the school year.  Information about these events can be found on this website as well as on the AMEA website.  All registration must be completed through the AMEA website.

  3. ChoDA also offers the sale of music at a discounted price for music that was used at previous festivals.  In addition to the sale of music, ChoDA also sells sight-reading materials from previous Regional and All-State auditions.  For a complete list of items available, please visit the AMEA music sales page.

Hello Members,

If you have not been to our website please look around.  I just wanted to give you an update on what is happening with ChoDA and also ask for your input.  Please feel free to e-mail your board members at any time and we will do our best to answer your questions and get back to you as soon as we can.  I know this is a stressful time for most of us around this state with budget cuts and RIFs.  Please know my thoughts are with all of you.
